ATTENTION as always and for clarity, I do not take any responsibility for any BRICK *, or various malfunctions, on your Acer Liquid Z110, due to the use of the changed files and guides that I have proposed here, then do these steps at your own risk , and I recommend to perform them only after being certain that you understand what you do and you understand the meaning, having read and re-read this post and the various guides that you will find.

Any incorrect comand could affect the use of your smartphone forcing you to send it in for repair to the Acer service center.

Flashing is a dangerous action and should be done very carefully.

* BRICK. make your phone like a brick, something that is useless except as a paperweight.

This is my Porting of the famous Recovery mod to version 6.0.2.8 beta, compiled by Bruno Martins, for our device. Should be functional enough and if you notice bugs please report here so I'll try to fix.
Then there will be the installation guide that is identical to the one of the root, and at the bottom of this post I link to the complete package including my recovery mod.

WARNING

1. If you already have done the Root of your Z110 continue with the guide below.
2. If you have not done the Root of your Z110, go to the post of Root and follow the guide to run the Root and then return to this one.
Installation Guide ClockworkMod

Tips Pre Flash

1. Having your own device with charge battery to 100%
2. Read the guide given below, at least a couple of times before applying.


Follow the step by step guide below:

1. Having Necessarily, as the operating system, Windows (tested by me with win 7 64 bit and Windows 8 32-bit)
2. Download the pack with the tools in the link below
3. Unzip the zip file you just downloaded to a directory on your PC.
4. Turn off your Z110 and remove the battery.
5. Connect your Z110 to the PC via USB cable.
6. The Z110 may not be recognized so you have to manually install the drivers, which are present in the zip file you downloaded, and depending on your operating system (XP, Vista, 7).
7. Once you have installed the usb drivers correctly, enter the folder, Flash Tool, and run the Flash file via the "flash_tools.exe". IRecommend run it as administrator, with the right mouse button.
8. You will see the first line of the program Flash Tools "Download Agent" automatically compiled.
9. Unplug your Z110, from USB cable and hold it without the battery.
10. Now you have to upload the file "MT6575_android_scatter.txt" and you'll have to click on the button to the right (Scatter-loading).
11. When the Windows Explorer window will open, you will find this file by going into the "Images" folder. Select the file MT6575_android_scatter.txt.
12. Now you have to choose what to Flashing.
On the bottom window you will see a lot of writing, with all the boxes selected with a check. -----> WARNING Carefully read section 13.

13. You will need to uncheck all the boxes except the box corresponding to RECOVERY.
WARNING -----> If you leave the check on all boxes, the tool will run the full Flash Rom then you lose so the original TIM Rom. So let the tick, just inside the box corresponding to the RECOVERY so that will perform only the Flash recovey.

14. Now you need to click just above the word RECOVERY.
15. This will open a new window in Windows, and in this case enter into the Images folder where you will find many files.
16. Now to install the ClockworkMod 6.0.1.5 you must click on the file "cwm6.0.1.5.lucky76.img".
17. At this point you are ready to Flashing the file of the new ClockworkMod recovery 6.0.1.5.

WARNING I remind you that you do this flash, at your own risk. Flashing is dangerous and could make your device unusable. So if you have it all figured out and you are sure and aware of what you're doing, continue with the steps below .......

18. To start the flash, you must click on Download.
19. Will come out a dialog warning / alert with the yellow triangle and black exclamation mark telling you that in English, Not all the images have been properly loaded .... etc..
20. Click on Yes
22. Connect your Z110 to the PC via the USB cable within a few seconds.
23. You will see from the bottom, gradually Red line, followed by a yellow and finally you will come out a Square window with a Green Circle inside and the words Download OK.
24. The Flash, of the new Mod RECOVERY is over.
25. Disconnect the USB cable from Z110 and replace the battery in the device.
26. Now before restarting normally try to get into recovery mode
27. To enter into recovery mode, you will need to Turn on the device with the Power button and immediately after you press and hold the Vol- button (down), until you will see starting the new Recovery. Now you can re-let, the Vol- button.
28. With the volume keys you can get on and off in the options of the new recovery. With the Power Button can confirm your choices in the various menus.
29. To restart go to the written reboot system now (System Reboot) ---> To select this option press the Power button as mentioned.
30. Wait Rebooting the System.
31. If you want to enter the phone is on in Recovery I suggest you download Quick Boot.

Instructions Update Recovery

A. Classic Method Sp Flash Tools

1. Download from the new link Update Recovery zip, with the image that you want to flash of the new Recovery
2. Unzip it into the folder Images of Paccehtto Complete R1 or R2
3. Follow the same procedure as the main guide of this post to the point 15

4. Attention to paragraph 16, where of course you must click one of the new Recovery, Normal or Touch
Normal ----> cwm6.0.2.5_Lucky76.img
Touch ----> cwm6.0.2.5_T_Lucky76.img
Normal ----> cwm6.0.2.7.A_Lucky76.img
Normal ----> cwm6.0.2.8.Lucky76.img

5. From point 17 followed the guide again.

B. Using Recovery Method

1. Downloaded from the link Update Recovery, the new zip for Direct Installation from Recovery
2. Copy the zip file in the microSD
3. Start the Recovery
4. Launch the installation. Zip file of the new recovery
5. Restart the new Recovery going to Advanced Menu ----> Reboot Recovery
6. You will have the new Recovery.

ATTENZIONE come sempre e per chiarezza non mi assumo nessuna responsabilità di eventuali BRICK* o malfunzionamenti vari dei vostri Acer Liquid Z110 dovuti all'utilizzo delle modifiche, dei files e dalle guide da me qui proposte , quindi farete queste operazioni a vostro rischio e pericolo, e mi raccomando eseguitele solo dopo essere certi di aver capito di quello che fate e di averne compreso il significato e dopo aver letto e riletto tutto questo post e le varie guide che troverete.

Eventuali comandi sbagliati potrebbero compromettere l'utilizzo del vostro smartphone costringendovi a mandarlo in riparazione in assistenza.

FLASHARE è un azione pericolosa e va fatta con molta attenzione.

*BRICK (brickare,brickato): letteralmente (tradotto in italiano) "MATTONE". rendere il proprio telefono alla stregua di un mattone, cioè un qualcosa di inutilizzabile se non come un fermacarte.

Questo è un mio Porting della famosa Recovery mod alla versione 6.0.2.8 beta, compilata da Bruno Martins, per quanto riguarda il nostro device. Dovrebbe essere abbastanza funzionale e se notate bug riportateli qui cosi proverò a fixarli.

Di seguito ci sarà la guida all'installazione che è identica a quella del Root e in fondo a questo post il link con il pack completo comprensivo della mia recovery mod.



ATTENZIONE


1. Se già avete avete fatto il Root del vostro Z110 proseguite con la guida qui sotto.

2. Se ancora non avete fatto il Root del Vostro Z110 passate per il post del Root e seguite quella guida per rootarlo per poi ritornare a questa.




Guida all'installazione della Clockworkmod


Consigli pre Flash

1. Avere il proprio Device con carica della Batteria al 100%
2. Leggere la guida riportata qui sotto almeno un paio di volte prima di effettuarla.




Seguire passo passo la guida qui sotto:

1. Avere Necessariamente come sistema operativo Windows (testato da me con win 7 64 bit e Windows 8 32 bit)
2. Scaricate il pack con il Tools presente nel link qui sotto
3. Scompattare il file.zip appena scaricato in una directory del vostro PC.
4. Spegnere il proprio Z110 e togliere la batteria
5. Collegate il vostro Z110 al PC tramite cavetto usb
6. Lo Z110 forse non verrà riconosciuto quindi dovrete installare manualmente i driver presenti nel file zip che avete scaricato e in base al vostro sistema operativo (Xp, Vista, 7).
7. Una volta installato i driver usb in modo corretto entrate nella cartella Flash Tool e lanciate il programma per il Flash tramite il file "flash_tools.exe". Consigliato avviarlo come amministratore con il tasto destro del mouse.
8. Vedrete la prima riga del programma Flash Tools "Download Agent" automaticamente compilata.
9. Staccate il vostro Z110 dal cavetto USB e tenetelo senza batteria.
10. Ora dovrete caricare il file "MT6575_android_scatter.txt" e lo dovrete fare cliccando sul pulsante a destra "Scatter-loading".
11. Quando vi si aprirà la finestra di Windows troverete questo file andando all'interno della cartella Images. Selezionate il file MT6575_android_scatter.txt.
12. Ora dovrete scegliere cosa Flashare. Sulla finestra in basso vedrete apparire molte scritte e tutte le con le relative caselle selezionate dalla spunta. -----> ATTENZIONE Leggere attentamente il punto 13.

13. Dovrete togliere la spunta di tutte le caselle eccetto la casella corrispondente alla RECOVERY.

ATTENZIONE -----> Se lasciate la spunta su tutte le caselle vi esiguirà il Flash completo della Rom perdendo così la Rom originale TIM. Quindi lasciate la Spunta solo dentro la casella corrispondente alla RECOVERY cosi vi eseguirà il Flash solo di quello.

14. Ora dovrete cliccare proprio sopra la scritta RECOVERY.
15. Vi si aprira di nuovo una finestra di Windows e in questo caso entrerete dentro la cartella Images dove troverete molti files.
16. Ora per installare la Clockworkmod 6.0.1.5 dovrete cliccare sul file cwm6.0.1.5.lucky76.img.
17. A questo punto siete pronti per Flashare il file della nuova recovery Clockworkmod 6.0.1.5 .

ATTENZIONE Vi ricordo che fate questo flash a vostro rischio e pericolo. Flashare è pericoloso e potrebbe rendere inutilizzabile il vosto Device. Quindi se avete capito tutto e siete sicuri e coscienti di quello che fate continuate con la procedura qui sotto.......


18. Per iniziare il Flash dovrete a questo punto cliccare su Download.
19. Vi uscira una finestra di avviso/allerta con il triangolo giallo e il punto esclamativo nero che vi avvisa in Inglese che Non tutte le immagini sono state correttamente caricate....ecc.
20. Premete su Si.
22. Collegate a questo punto il vostro Z110 al PC tramite il cavetto USB entro pochi secondi.
23. Vedrete partire in basso progressivamente una riga Rossa seguita da una Gialla e infine vi uscirà un finestra Quadrata con un Cerchio Verde all'iterno e la scritta Download OK.
24. Il Flash della nuova RECOVERY Mod è finito.
25. Staccare il Z110 dal cavetto usb e rimettere la batteria dentro il Device.
26. Ora prima di riavviarlo normalmente provate ad entrare in modalità recovery
27. Per entrare in modalità Recovery dovrete Accendere il Device con il Tasto Power (Accenzione) e subito dopo dovrete tener premuto il Tasto Vol- (giù) finche non vedrete partire la nuova Recovery. Ora potete rilasciare il tasto Vol- .
28. Con i tasti Volume potrete scendere e salire nella varie opzioni della nuova recovery. Con il Tasto Power potrete confermare le scelte nei vari Menù.
29. Per riavviare andate sulla scritta reboot system now (Riavvio Sistema) ---> Per scegliere questa Opzione premete come detto il Tasto Power.
30. Attendete il Riavvio del Sistema.
31. Se volete entrare con il telefono acceso in Recovery vi consiglio di scaricarvi Quick Boot.
32. Fine



Istruzioni Aggiornamento Recovery

A. Metodo Classico Sp Flash Tools

1. Scaricate dal link Aggiornamento Recovery il nuovo zip con l'Immagine della nuova Recovery che volete flashare
2. Scompattatelo dentro la Cartella Images del Paccehtto Completo R1 o R2
3. Seguite la stessa procedura della guida principale di questo post fino al punto 15

4. Attenzione al punto 16 dove ovviamente dovrete clicclare su una delle nuove Recovery Normale o Touch

Normale ----> cwm6.0.2.5_Lucky76.img
Touch ----> cwm6.0.2.5_T_Lucky76.img
Normale ----> cwm6.0.2.7.A_Lucky76.img
Normale ----> cwm6.0.2.8.Lucky76.img

5. Dal punto 17 seguite di nuovo la Guida.

B. Metodo Tramite Recovery

1. Scaricate dal link Aggiornamento Recovery il nuovo zip per Installazione diretta da Recovery
2. Copiate il file.zip nella microSD
3. Avviate la Recovery
4. Lanciate l'installazione del file .zip della nuova recovery
5. Riavviate la nuova Recovery andando in Advanced Menu ----> Reboot Recovery
6. Avret la nuova Recovery.

Ma scusa, il file zip è possibile installarlo direttamente dalla recovery originale?

 

Luca ha descritto come secondo metodo questa possibilità... Non ho questo dispositivo ma suppongo che sia uno zip update.zip che la recovery stock riconosce e applica. Riavviando quindi la recovery vera caricata la nuova cwm .
