[ROM][4.4.2][Unofficial] OmniRom

Questa è una versione non ufficiale della OmniRom per l'N8000. Non sono io lo sviluppatore ma iofthestorm che è riuscito a portare Android KitKat sul nostro ormai dimenticato tablet.
La rom risulta stabile e funzionante al 100% ma non è ancora entrata nelle rom supportate ufficialmente dal team OmniRom, quindi ho pensato di aprire questo thread e pubblicare rom aggiornate con le ultime novità del team (SoundPacks e OmniSwitch) e qualche Cherry-Pick che mi diverto ad aggiungere.

Requisiti
Recovery modificata che supporti il SELinux. Al momento consiglio di installare la TWRP 2.6.3.1 compilata sempre da iofthestorm
Consiglio di installarla utilizzando Flashify

Consiglio vivamente di controllare l'md5sum prima di flashare la rom!
Per farlo copiate il codice che trovate con la rom ed utilizzate MD5 Checker

Installazione (provenenedo da un'altra rom)

• Posizionare la rom nella memoria interna o nella sd del tablet
• Backup
• Wipe (factory reset)
• Flash Rom
• Flash GApps
• Flash Root
• Reboot

Aggiornamento

• Posizionare la rom nella memoria interna o nella sd del tablet

Scusate, è la prima volta che tento di fare un flash sul mio N8000, potreste indicarmi passo passo come devo fare? considerate che è la ROM stock 4.1.2 brand Wind N8000XXCLLI

grazie, ho letto la guida e le guide che erano indicate all'interno.
quello che vorrei capire, è: la twrp posso installarla direttamente tramite flashify o devo prima avere i permessi root? come si usa md5 checker? devo inserire i numeri ma non ho idea di dove si trovino.

per usare flashigy serve il root

 

Una volta rootato con Flashify installi la recovery.
Il numero md5 lo trovi sul sito dove scarichi la rom!

no serve solo epr controllare l'md5

 

sto facendo il root del mio N8000, ho installato la CWM come da guida ma quando vado a installare il root mi da failure e non lo installa. è il file della guida CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip, posso in alternativa mettere il file UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93?

 

Si se hai già una custom recovery puoi usare quella versione

non so per quale motivo, ma pur riscaricando il file per il roor, ogni volta che tento il flash mi da failed. c'è un'altra procedura o che posso usare? come mai non funziona il flash da recovery del file zip? con i miei altri dispositivi non ho mai avuto problemi

la twrp che è nella guida come la flasho? da Odin?

 

azz che sfiga è solo in formato img o da installare con goomanager, allora cambiamo strategia.

1. metti la philz con odin (ultima versione)

2. fai il root flashato lo zip di supersu
3. ora prendi l'immagine della twrp (ultima versione), installa flashify dal play store, dagli i permessi di root e seleziona l'imamgine della twrp
4. fatto ora puoi continuare con questa guida

provo con la TWRP da Odin perché anche con la philz mi dava failed al falsh della SU. La twrp che flasho con odin mi da anche il root?

scusate, ma io ho flashato tre recovery, compresa la TWRP. è normale che ogni volta che vado in recovery l'interfaccia è sempre la stessa?? ho sempre le stesse opzioni e non posso fare il backup dei dati da recovery. Forse sbaglio qualcosa?
