Cosa è SunShine?

SunShine è un utility che permette di ottenere l's-off e lo sblocco del bootloader degli HTC più recenti.
SunShine è un applicazione a pagamento ... è tutto spiegato qui.

SunShine is our bootloader unlock/s-off tool for Motorola and HTC phones. We currently support most HTC phones, and Droid Turbo, Moto X (2014), Moto X (2013), MotoG (2013) and Droid Maxx/Mini/Ultra on Android 4.4.3 and lower. All modern HTC devices (m9 m7 m8 e8 Mini2 remix dna etc) devices are supported up to 7.1.1, as long as they are rootable. SunShine can work without pre-rooting all 4.4.3 and below devices, and some 4.4.4 and 5.x devices. Some 5.0 and above users will have to root with HTCDev.com. Verizon M7 5.0.x users will have to temp root with the Kingroot app. DROID TURBO 2 IS NOT SUPPORTED.

Il mio dubbio è: come mai Sunshine non mi ha chiesto di pagare i 25$? Non vorrei bloccare il bloader e poi non va l'applicazione...

 

salve avrei bisogno di alcuni chiarimenti.
io ho acquistato un m8 usato già sbloccato almeno il bootloader infatti monta la rom leedroid, ma su s-on. Allego immagine.
Ora ho visto cercando sul sito questo programma per ottenere s-off inquanto in altra discussione ultimo125 mi ha fatto notare che nonostante il bootloader sbloccato il telefono potesse essere in s-on eche per fare s-off servivano 25$. Motivo per cui vorrei fare s-off è per un eventuale ripristino del cell per eventuale garanzia.
Ora vorrei capire:
1) dall' immagine che ho allegato il cid del mio telefono è originale?
2) posso farne un backup?
3) partendo dalla leedroid il programma funziona?
4) sono andato sul sito di sunshine e sono riuscito a scaricare il programma che si chiama sunshine latest update e quindi quando devo pagare i 25$?
5) conviene fare un tentativo anche con firewater?

1) dall'immagine non riusciamo a vedere ne il CID
ne tanto meno la versione del firmware visto che il rigo OS: risulta essere vuoto
2) il Backup ti servirebbe a poco ... se non per tornare alla attuale stato con Custom ROM LeeDroid !!
3/4) installa sunshine latest update.apk, avvialo e verranno effettuate le dovute verifiche (gratis)
sarà il programma stesso a determinare se con l'attuale ROM potrai ottenere l'S-OFF
a verifica effettuata, con esito positivo, solo se confermerai di voler proseguire ti verranno chiesti i dati per il pagamento !!
5) Fiwater come molti altri tool simili, oltre che non risultare efficienti dopo gli ultimi aggiornamenti firmware
hanno anche disattivato i propri server, con cui il telefono comunicava durante il processo di S-OFF !!
... ma se vuoi toglierti lo sfizio fai pure ... invece per il verificare il tuo CID scarica ed installa "CID Getter" dal Play Store !!

 

ok installato sunshine fatto i test ed è arrivato al punto del pagamento. ora basta pagare e funziona giusto?

 

se ti ha dato l' ok il sunshine si(anche perche' altrimenti non arrivavi al pagamento)

ora sono su s-off, come scritta vedo solo status modified, poi leggo unlocked e sotto la scritta s-off e vedo il cid che è rimasto uguale a quello originale.
ora:
1) ma qualora dovesse servire rifare la procedurà come si fa non devo ripagare giusto?
altra info ma ora con s-off posso anceh installare le rom senza problemi o come su s-on sono obbligato prima ad installare una rom htc one m8 e poi quella moddata es leedroid chiedeva una rom wwe specifica.

 

l'acquisto della licenza per il Sunshine e vincolante al Telefono
se rifai la procedura sullo stesso telefono non occorre pagare ancora
invece se cambiassi telefono dovrai comprare una nuova licenza !!

ma in linea generale con S-OFF puoi fare "tutto senza problemi"

 

provo a spiegarmi meglio.
premesso che io il cell l'ho acquistato usato e la rom leedroid l'ho già trovata sul cell, nella discussione della rom ho letto che questa è basata sulla rom HTC WWE 4.16.401.10 & HTC M9 1.32.401.17 Merged e quindi pensavo che fosse necessario avere questa rom installata sul cell prima di poter installare la leedroid ma credo che abbia detto una fesseria giusto?

 

diciamo che il concetto è differente ma la sostanza non cambia

in pratica solitamente con le Custom ROM che hanno una base Firmware Recente
per evitare problemi è necessario che il Telefono abbia già lo stesso firmware
in quanto con l'installazione di una Custom ROM il firmware non verrà aggiornato !!!

per installare/aggiornare il solo firmware è necessario essere S-OFF ... quindi possiamo dire che i tuoi dubbi erano fondati !!!

 

Quindi se fossi stato su s-on per installare la leedroid avrei dovuto installare la rom ufficiale wwe su cui si basa la leedroid giusto?
Invece ora con s-off avrei potuto installare direttamente la leedroid senza installare prima la rom ufficiale wwe di riferimento.

se fossi stato in S-ON ed avessi avuto un vecchio firmware, avresti dovuto rimettere la tua ROM officiale stock, ed aspettare di ricevere ufficialmente l'aggiornamento OTA, e su un telefono Brand non sempre arrivano rapidamente.
Invece da S-OFF è sufficiente aggiornare solo il firmware da FASTBOOT !!!

per installare le varie Custom ROM non occorre modificare il CID.

1) quindi giusto per capire io ora sto usando la leedroid, se volessi cambiare rom devo prima installare il firmware e poi la rom cucinata?
2) come si fa a capire quale firmware usa una rom?

Cioè vado di questo comando, riavvio e poi eseguo sunshine? ...non vorrei combinare casini
