Sono felice ti presentarvi il mio nuovo progetto!
E' il mio primo Kernel quindi, gentilmente, non iniziate a chiedermi di aggiungere questa o quella feature ma contribuite a far crescere il progetto!
Ci sono 2 versioni: una per S6 Flat (testata SOLO su SM-G920F/I) e una per S6 Edge (testata SOLO su SM-G925F/I)
Fate attenzione a non flashare la versione sbagliata!
Per le altre varianti potete testare voi stessi se funziona (vi consiglio di fare prima un backup) e rilasciarmi un feedback!

Ieri non ho avuto tempo ma stasera ho quasi deciso di roootare l's6 e di provare la tua rom, ma non prima di avere chiari alcuni dubbi , come ti ho detto ieri sono su base BOG8 e mi hai detto di usare l'unibase v2, ma se mettessi l'unikernel cambierebbe qualcosa? vorrei capire la differenza. Una volta flashato l'unibase o l'unikernel potrei continuare ad usare anche la rom stock con la differenza che il device sarebbe rootato? Ti ringrazio in anticipo per la risposta.

 

la differenza tra unibase e unikernel è che l'unibase è il kernel stock pre-rootato (necessario per il flash della twrp) mentre l'unibase è un kernel custom. in linea di massima non dovrebbero esserci differenze poiché tutti e due sono pre-rootati e quindi dovrebbero permettere il flash della twrp senza problemi. se dopo rifacessi il flash del firmware originale ti ritroveresti nella stessa situazione di adesso quindi senza root, custom recovery e custom kernel ma con il contatore knox flaggato.

Si del contatore tanto non mi interessa, ad esempio io flasho l'unibase BOG8 (si può flashare solo su una base BOG8?o anche su una base diversa?) installo la tua rom e poi volendo posso flashare l'unikernel perchè magari mi offre più "funzioni"? Scusa l'interrogatorio ma voglio essere sicuro di quello che faccio

La prima impressione è che è molto più fluida della stock, nei prossimi giorni, dopo averci smanettato per bene ti darò un giudizio generale, anche su batteria ed eventuali bug

Giusto per informazione, l'ho flashata senza prima installare la stock come suggerito al primo post e per ora, non sto avendo problemi...speriamo continui così

 

grazie per i complimenti e benvenuto! lo spero anche io, caso mai sai già qual'è il problema e come risolvere... per il futuro meterrò il bootloader e il modem da flashare con odin così non sarà necessario di volta in volta flashare la stock

Una domanda, ma pensi che per l'S6 sarà sempre necessario "pensare" al bootloader ogni volta che si cambia baseband?...oppure si potrà approcciare come si faceva con il buon S3 dove era la rom che flashavi ad avere "l'ultima parola"? Per intenderci...con l'S3 ho praticamente usato odin solo la prima volta quando ho dovuto mettere la recovery custom e effettuare il root, poi sono sempre andato avanti con flash e nandroid backup

 

se il telefono funziona bene non è sempre necessario, solo in caso di problemi o di upgrade di android (come ad esempio dalla 5.0.2 alla 5.1.1)
