Cataclysm for Nexus 5X ​

Per una facile installazione, manutenzione ed aggiornamenti, da ora in poi verra' distribuita con aggiornamenti differenziali come su stock firmware, in pratica via OTA.
E' una maniera rivoluzionaria ed unica per gli aggiornamenti, state attenti dovete essere sulla rom stock prima di flashare questa.
Se flashate un altro kernel diverso da quello incluso qui, assicuratevi che sia selinux permissive o flashate uno zip permissive subito dopo.
Non dovrebbero essere necessari alcun wipe prima di installare la Cataclysm.
Finche' la Cataclysm e' applicata su sullo stock image non dovete flashare nessuna additional gapps.

Installazione:

• Se non l' avete, flashate l' ultimo system factory image.
• Flashate la Cataclysm, nessun wipe necessario.
• Opzionale il flash del SuperSU 2.52.
• Opzionale pure il flash di un custom kernel. ma deve essere permissive.

Il kernel incluso ha la crittografia forzata e il dm-verity disabilitato, quindi SuperSU funzionera' perfettamente,
no need to flash any other kernel.

Uscita rom stabile dell'8 Dicembre 2015 con Android 6.0.1

 

A proposito dell'aggiornamento io avrei un paio di domande:

- Perché è necessario flashare boot.img / vendor.img / radio.img
- Dove si possono reperire questi file?
- Quando e come capisco quando sono necessari?

Ma la mia perplessità più grande è: se è necessario flashare questi file al cambio della ROM, non sarà più possibile "fare modding" senza avere dietro un PC con i driver adb installati...

Purtroppo ci stiamo spostando in quella direzione anche se con l'ultima beta di superSu forse hanno risolto.

 

In che senso? In che modo le beta >2.60 di SuperSU (se ho ben capito è da quella che Chainfire ha cambiato sistema) potrebbero cambiare le cose?
