    Le recovery TWRP sono delle ottime recovery, full touch, non necessitano di pulsanti fisici e sono costantemente aggiornate

    ULTIMA VERSIONE DISPONIBILE PER HTC ONE M8 ALL VARIANTS: 3.1.0-0

    CHANGELOG 3.1.0-0 M8 ALL VARIANTS:
    • vold decrypt on a few select HTC devices, TWRP will now attempt to use the system partition's vold and vdc binaries and libraries to decrypt the data partition (nkk71 and CaptainThrowback)

    CHANGELOG for 3.0.2-0:

    -Fix a bug with the input box that affected masked inputs (passwords). This fixes decrypt of full device encryption on devices that support decrypt. This bug also impacts encrypted backups. Users are highly encouraged to stop using 3.0.1 if you use encrypted backups or if you need decrypt of data in TWRP.
    -Add Greek translation to some builds.

    -Language translation - It won’t be perfect and especially some languages that require large font files like Chinese & Japanese won’t be availble on most devices. Also some languages may only be partially translated at this time. Feel free to submit more translations to OmniROM’s Gerrit. (mostly by Dees_Troy)
    -Flashing of sparse images - On select devices you will be able to flash some parts of factory images via the TWRP GUI (by HashBang173)
    -Adopted storage support for select devices - TWRP can now decrypt adopted storage partitions from Marshmallow

    INSTALLAZIONE:
    • Scaricare la TWRP dal link sopra e rinominarla semplicemente in twrp.img
    • Copiate il file nella cartella ADB/FASTBOOT usata per la procedura di sblocco del Bootlaoder.
    • Riavviate il dispositivo in modalità "Bootloader" spostarsi coi tasti volume su "Fastboot" e dai ok con tasto "Power"
    • Digitate i seguenti comandi:

    poi successivamente

    fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
    Una volta terminata l'installazione potete procedere all'accesso alla recovery tramite il comando:

    adb reboot recovery
    PROCEDURA DI AGGIORNAMENTO DELLA RECOVERY (NEL CASO SI DISPONE DI UNA VERSIONE PRECEDENTE GIA INSTALLATA SUL DISPOSITIVO):
    Dalla TWRP versione 2.8.4.0 in poi è possibile installare le successive release anche direttamente dalla TWRP Recovery nel seguente modo:

    • Download delll'ultima versione della TWRP appropriata per il vostro device/firmware
    • Reboot in TWRP
    • Scegliete "Installa" e poi "Installa Immagine" in basso a destra
    • Cercate il file TWRP image nel vostro dispositivo e selezionatelo
    • Infine Selezionate "Recovery" dalla lista di partizioni su cui installare e fate lo swipe per avviare il flash come da Immagine sotto

    Io ho installato la 2.8.1.0 ma spesso e volentieri mi mandava il terminale in blocco con schermo nero, per farlo rifunzionare dovevo collegare il terminale ed effettuare un reboot via ADB, ho fatto un downgrade alla 2.8.0.3 e il problema non è più presente, Qualcuno ha avuto il mio stesso problema? PS. Per flashare le cose uso il CAVO OTG

    no, a me funziona benissimo messaggi di errori del font a parte.
    A molti non carica il font e da un messaggio rosso di errore, ma la recovery e' funzionante al 100%, ieri backup e restore della viper senza problemi.

    Ma tu installi i file via ZIP? Sì gli errori li avevo anche io con la 2.8.1.0 ma alla fine non erano errori che creavano conflitti con le funzioni della rom, ho fatto pure il backup della rom stock con quella... Aspetto una nuova rella, per ora rimango con la 2.8.0.3 che va da DIO

    Si, unico problema la 2.8.0.3 non funziona bene il mount usb da recovery, io installo sempre da fastboot

    Boh a me monta la usb senza problemi da recovery con la 2.8.0.3, non è che dipende molto dalla chiavetta USB? IO uso una sony da 8gb e va che è una bellezza

    no io parlo della SD interna ed esterna

    con la 2.8.0.3 le montava ma dava errore in copia, questa invece no

    ah non avevo capito scusa, no io la SD ancora non l'ho montata, ma sto aspettando una 32gb sandisk poi faccio i test dovuti e ti dico

    What's new in 2.8.5.0:


    • Scale the GUI - TWRP can read the theme's resolution and scale it up or down to fit the theme to your screen's resolution
    • Improve thread handling and move input handling into the main rendering thread to improve stability
    • Make MTP work even if unplugged and plugged back in
    • Unify scrollable list code and make kinetic scrolling feel more natural
    • Fix handling of mapped zip files for OTA updates (CM12 updater)
    • USB keyboards should now work on all devices that support USB host mode via a USB OTG cable
    • Other small fixes and improvements

    mi pare che al momento sul sito ufficiale siamo fermi alla TWRP 2.8.7.0
    come sipuò verificare a questo link

    quindi Ufficialmente solo TWRP 2.8.7.0 (link)

    però per M8 ho trovato questa versione TWRP 2.8.7.1 presumo non ufficiale
