Installazione

Partendo da un altra rom

0) Scaricate la rom e mettela sul note 8
1) Scaricate l'ultima versione della Philz Touch e flashatela
2) Andate in recovery mode (Tasto accensione + tasto centrale + tasto volume su)
3) Fare i 3 wipe (dalvik,cache e data)
4) Installare la rom
5) Scegliere quello che si vuole dall'aroma installer (il touch non prende molto bene usate i tasti fisici per scorrere e selezionare)
6) Riavviare
7) Fatto !!!

(alla fine dell'installazione l'aroma potrebbe bloccarsi e non far riavviare il tablet, niente paura tenete premuto per qualche secondo il tablet e riavviatelo, cosa molto importante è che l'installazione sia finita prima di riavviare manualmente)

Upgrade della flexbeam

1) Andate in recovery mode (Tasto accensione + tasto centrale + tasto volume su)
2) Fare i 2 wipe (dalvik e cache)
3) Installare la rom
4) Scegliere quello che si vuole dall'aroma installer (il touch non prende molto bene usate i tasti fisici per scorrere e selezionare)
5) Riavviare
6) Fatto !!!

Various performance fixes and new GPU settings.
GPU settings are:
Step0 54MHz = new Idle step = when in browser mode and no gaming this low GPU speed will help save power
Step1 266MHz
Step2 350MHz
Step3 533MHz = new speed for step3 for better performance in drawing
Step4 700MHz = New OC speed for the better gaming performance
GPU settings are not editable and hard set in the kernel
Small update in Aircommand packages .
Switched to 3Minit battery and added the 3MinitQuicklanch with better layout when not in use @ gharrington
Tip stock battery:
Use Xblasted xposed module or download the stock battery with 3Minit and apply it.

Aircommand support(Thanks to for most of the work jazzespresso)
Look for the Aroma installation options for correct installation of Aircommand.
Use the GMD Aircommand shortcut to open aircommand , Use the pen window manager to add or remove apps frome the Aircommand penwindow manager, Use the Spen launcher settings app to open Aircommand on detaching the Spen.
App and libs updated.
4 (quad) multiwindow support (drag up to 4 windows next to eachother)

5100 & 5120 users can download the Aircommand feature from the separate AIRCOMMAND folder and install that.

New SphereKat Rev4.0 kernel included = based on officila KK source
Aircommand terminal command (see terminal command).
Fix Aircommand FC.
Tip to pop up the Aircommand :
Go to Xblasted modules - Statusbar - Gestures and select a gesture to pop-up the Aircommand trigger app.
I did long press in statusbar. Now you can open the Aircommand in any app by long presing the statusbar area

20/Jun/2014 :Rev1.6 - 5110 support

GT-N5110 updated to Rev1.6 based on new NF1 samsung kk release.
App and libs updated.
3-way reboot= reboot-softreboot-recovery.
Bootloader for the N5110 updated to NF1 = remember no way back to JB bootloader.

If you have problems booting on the 5100/5120 please install the stock kernel then.

Bootloader/modem package for the N5120 added if you want to update = remember no way back to JB bootloader.

Root installation moved to normal rom installation so there is no problem any more.
Insecure Kernel added in aroma opion: init.d supported without the need of a app
36 different battery icons (tapping the battery icon 3 times opens the menu), KitKat icon is also included

Insecure kernel runs a custom script for testing future updates when samsung releases source, just for my use.

prossimamente verrà rilasciata anche per n5100 e n5120, inoltre ricordo che il bootloader ha knox, quindi seguendo la guida vi ritroverete con il knox warranty void a ax1

io mi trovo con JB 4.2.2 stock e il kernerl di civato 8ovviamente ho il root) basta che seguo dunque all lettera la guida. alla fine avro' sempre il root?

qualora volessi applicare la KK stock basta flasharla con odin giusto?

per il root o riavvi e nuovamente in recovery dopo aver flashato la prima volta e riflashi la rom selezionando "advanced user" oppure flashi supersu da recovery...mi raccomando flasha il bootloader

 

Ok quindi se ho capito seguire la guida poi riavviare entrando in recovery e fare un nuovo flash come advance user. Devo metterevla spunta da qualche parte quando flasho il boot loader?

Dovrebbe esser facile. Presumo questa mail rom non abbia problemi di allineamento della s pen. Mi consigli per caso di flashare prima la stock 4.4.2 e poi flashare questa?

Per il bootloader devi spuntare solo f.reset.time e auto-reboot e mettere l'md5 in BL
